Airflow speed selection

* The airflow speed can be switched between two levels.

(The airflow volume is constant regardless of the airflow speed selection.)

* Hold the mouthpiece as shown in the figure and select the airflow speed.

(Do not block the air outlet port.)

CAUTION

When storing the appliance for a long time.

Before storing, operate the appliance for 30 minutes on a dry day to dry the tube and capsule completely.

CAUTION

Before starting the maintenance, press the off button and disconnect the power plug.

Frequent maintenance

* Empty the capsule if water is accumulated in it. Wipe off droplets with a facial tissue or something similar.

If too much water accumulates in the capsule, water may adhere to the filter in the O₂ mouthpiece, or water droplets may come out of the O₂ mouthpiece.

If water adheres to the filter, remove the filter and dry it in the shade in a clean place.

Before use, dry the filter completely. Absorbing water with tissue paper helps to dry the filter.

(Refer to page 14,15,16 for removal procedures for the filters.)

If you use the Oxygen Concentrator continuously or at a time or place of high humidity, water will accumulate more quickly.

NOTE* Please do not drink the water which accumulated.

Periodic maintenance (approximately once per month)

* You may remove the filer and wash it with water.

After washing it, dry the filter completely before attaching it to the main unit.

NOTE

* After the maintenance, be sure to attach the filter before use.

CAUTION

Maintenance required when odor and dirt become annoying or after a long period of disuse.

Maintenance on O₂ headset and tube set

1. Remove the capsule and tube. (Leave the capsule and tube mounted except when performing maintenance.)

2. Remove the mouthpiece, filter, and the mouthpiece cap.
Removing the O₂ mouthpiece Pull out the mouthpiece slowly the direction shown by the arrow.

Daily maintenance

3. Rinse the components.* Soak the components in water for 2 to 3 minutes and let water go through the tube.

NOTE

1) Do not soak the components in water that is hotter than 60.(Otherwise, it may cause deformation or discoloring.)

2) Do not rinse the whole O₂ headset.

3) Do not use detergent, benzene, thinner, or alcohol.(Otherwise, it may cause cracks or discoloring.)

4) Be careful not to lose the filter, which are very small.

4. Dry the components.

1) Wipe out and drain off the moisture.

2) Mount the components on the unit as shown in the figure on the right and operate for 30 minutes to dry out the unit.

3) Remove the O₂ headset, capsule and tube and dry them completely in a clean place in direct sunlight. (If drying is incomplete, water may drip out of the O₂ mouthpiece during operation.)

NOTE Do not the components with the air of an electric dryer, etc. (It may cause deformation or failure.)

5. Reassemble the components.

* Be sure to mount the filter before use.
